1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating a Jobtune account through our authentication provider (Clerk), you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not create an account or use our services. These terms apply to all users, including free Starter accounts and paid Pro subscribers.

2. AI Content Responsibility & AI Services

Jobtune utilizes third-party AI services (OpenAI, Sarvam AI) to generate resume content, tailored job descriptions, and mock interview feedback. You acknowledge that AI output is generated algorithmically and may contain errors. You are solely responsible for verifying the accuracy of all content before use in professional applications.

• All AI-generated content is provided for guidance and reference only. It does not constitute professional career, legal, or HR advice.

• Jobtune is not responsible for the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of any AI-generated output, including resume text or interview feedback scores.

• You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and verifying all AI-generated content before submitting it to any employer.

3. Limitation of Liability

Jobtune is not liable for any employment decisions, rejections, or career outcomes resulting from the use of our platform. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Jobtune's total liability for any claims arising out of or relating to these Terms or the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim.

4. Founder's Access, Plans & Credits

Jobtune offers a free Starter tier and a paid Pro plan, currently available as "Founder's Access" pricing. Please note the following regarding credits and plan features:

• Credits for AI resume tailoring and Mock Interview sessions are allocated per plan and are non-transferable between accounts.

• Unused credits do not roll over between billing periods.

• Features marked "Coming Soon" are part of the planned product roadmap. Founder's Access subscribers will receive priority access when these features launch, but no specific launch date is guaranteed.

• Jobtune reserves the right to modify plan pricing, credit allocations, and feature availability with reasonable notice to subscribers.

5. Data Ownership

You retain 100% of the intellectual property rights to any resume content, career history, or personal information that you create, upload, or input into Jobtune.

• Jobtune does not claim ownership over your career history, resume drafts, or any personal data you provide.

• You grant Jobtune a limited, non-exclusive license to process your data solely for the purpose of delivering the services described in these terms.

• You may export or delete your data at any time. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

6. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate accounts that violate these Terms, including but not limited to accounts that attempt to "jailbreak" or reverse-engineer our AI prompts, circumvent credit systems, or use the platform for fraudulent or harmful purposes. You may also delete your account at any time by contacting support@jobtune.io.
